Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to using our website and the general framework for Sobbe Consulting's services.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions set out the general framework for using our website and for working with us. The scope, fees and specific terms of a particular service are set out in the proposal or service agreement we provide to you.
01Parties and scope
These terms apply between SOBBE TRADE CONSULTING LTD, trading as Sobbe Consulting ("Sobbe", "we", "us"), and the person or business using our website or services ("you"). Sobbe is registered in England & Wales under company number 16306332, with its registered office at Office 10323, 321-323 High Road, Chadwell Heath, Essex, England, RM6 6AX, United Kingdom.
If an individual proposal or service agreement conflicts with these terms, the proposal or agreement prevails for that service.
02Use of the website and its content
The content on our website is for general information. It is not individual legal, tax, financial or investment advice and does not replace a professional assessment of your situation.
We take care to keep the content accurate and up to date, but laws, official practice and platform rules change often. We recommend confirming the current position with us or the relevant authority before making a decision.
03Enquiries, consultations and proposals
An enquiry sent through the website, WhatsApp or email, or an initial consultation, does not by itself create a service agreement.
Our proposal sets out the scope, fees, payment terms, estimated timelines and, where relevant, how long the proposal remains valid. A proposal is based on the information you give us; changes to that information may affect the scope and fees.
04Forming a service agreement and its scope
A service relationship is formed when our proposal or service agreement is accepted in the way the proposal describes. The scope of a service is limited to the work defined in the accepted proposal or agreement; anything outside it is assessed separately.
Our services can include company formation, director-related services, accounting and tax support, VAT and EORI processes, product compliance, trademark registration, Amazon and Shopify consulting, support with setting up payment infrastructure and sourcing-related support. The details of each service are explained on the relevant service page and in the proposal.
05Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete and up-to-date information and documents, and tell us promptly about changes
- Provide the information, documents and approvals we request within a reasonable time
- Make sure the documents you share are genuine and yours, or that you are authorised to share them
- Run your business, products and activities in line with applicable law
- Keep your accounts, passwords and access details secure
Incomplete, inaccurate or late information can extend timelines, lead to rejected applications or create additional costs. Sobbe is not responsible for the consequences of such situations.
06Third parties and authorities
Our services often involve independent third parties: Companies House, HMRC, US state agencies and the IRS, trademark offices, tax authorities, Amazon, Shopify and other marketplaces, banks and payment providers such as Wise, WorldFirst, Mercury, PayPal, Stripe and Shopify Payments.
Their decisions, review and approval processes, identity verification (KYC) assessments, fees, rules and account restrictions are within their own authority and outside Sobbe's direct control. Sobbe is not their representative and is not a bank, payment institution, law firm or government body.
07Outcomes we cannot guarantee
We carry out our services with care and professional diligence, but we cannot guarantee outcomes that depend on third-party decisions. In particular, we do not guarantee:
- That an application to an authority will succeed or be decided within a particular time
- That a bank or payment account application will be approved
- That a trademark application will result in registration
- That a marketplace or store account will be opened, approved or remain free of restrictions
- Any particular level of sales, revenue or commercial result
Timelines
Timelines we give are estimates. Third-party processing times, requests for further information and the timing of information and approvals we need from you can affect them.
08Fees and payment
Fees, payment terms and the payment schedule are set for each service in the proposal or service agreement. Unless the proposal says otherwise, official fees and third-party charges are not included in our fee.
Terms for cancellation, refunds and early termination of a service are set out in the proposal or agreement for that service.
09Intellectual property
The text, design, logo and other content on our website belong to Sobbe or its licensors. They may not be copied, reproduced or distributed for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
The rights to use deliverables prepared for you as part of a service are set out in the relevant proposal or agreement.
10Acceptable use
You must not use our website for unlawful purposes, in a way that infringes the rights of others, or in a way that harms the site's operation or security.
11External links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, services or privacy practices.
12Confidentiality and personal data
We keep the business information you share with us confidential and use or share it only to deliver the service, to meet legal obligations and in line with your instructions. How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
13Limits of liability
Sobbe is responsible for carrying out its services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, Sobbe is not liable for the decisions or actions of third parties, for incomplete or inaccurate information you provide, or for indirect losses (such as loss of profit, business or opportunity).
Liability limits for a particular service may also be set out in the relevant proposal or agreement.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence), or any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
14Events outside our control
Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, war, outages of official systems or infrastructure failures; in such cases the parties inform each other within a reasonable time.
15Suspension and termination
Ending a service relationship is subject to the terms of the relevant proposal or agreement. If we suspect unlawful activity, receive false information or documents, or agreed payment terms are not met, we may suspend or end a service, giving advance notice where reasonable.
16Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page. A service that has already started remains subject to the terms of the accepted proposal or agreement.
17Governing law and jurisdiction
Unless an individual proposal or agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are resolved by the courts of England and Wales to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This does not affect any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
